Yesterday, I attended MoMA's Young Directors series, and watched a movie of the
young Argentine director Matías Piñeiro called TODOS MIENTEN and
absolutely loved it!
It has quite a compelling story, combines 19th with 21st century, lots of young people, who all lie and play tricks on each other. Beautiful girls, and less attractive guys (sorry, that's how I feel about it!) who read a book to each other, record stories, play guitar... it's very intellectual but highly entertaining.

After the movie, Matías Piñeiro stayed around for Q&A and he was especially delighted about the question I asked, which in return delighted me! All in all an evening well spent despite the cold that's currently bugging me! It was such a pleasure to listen to Matías Piñeiro's past and future projects. I enjoy people with lots of energy and creativity and he has it both. Kudos! And much success!!!

It was one of the most exciting Q&As after a movie I've seen. Matías obviously likes to talk and he shared a lot his thoughts behind the film and even explained some of the scenes - something most directors usually decline.
